SWEET SOMETHING
Quartet, Trio or Duo
Sweet Something was created by vocalist and front-woman, Ariana Harbin, with the intention of bringing her favorite jazz tunes of yesteryear back to life. Expect to hear the great music of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Julie London and more during the band's performance. Sweet Something's sound is smooth and timeless, featuring a diverse and talented lineup: Ariana's vocal roots began in gospel choirs, pianist Quentin Walston is an immensely talented jazz performer, double bassist Ricardo Herrera is classically trained, and drummer Aaron Ivey is a young talent, local to DC. The group has provided entertainment for various events in the DMV area, including weddings, corporate events and cocktail hours, charity galas, retirement parties, and more, and has performed at venues like The Army Navy Club, The DC Botanic Gardens, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, The Watergate Hotel, and many more.
Sweet Something can perform with either a duo (vocals and keys), trio (vocals, keys, and bass) or quartet (vocals, keys, bass, and drums) depending on the event.
So whether you're hosting a speakeasy event, or just have a group of old-timey music-lovers, Sweet Something would be happy to make your event even more special!
